There is a scene in Ocean's Twelve, which is funnier than anything I've heard in recent times. The monologue by Robbie Coltrane (aka Hagrid) runs roughly thus:
"
When I was a kid, I saw my aunt kill a spider with a tea cosy.
Years later, I realized that it wasn't really a spider...
... it was my uncle Harold.
"
